Capri Cosworth 24v Turbo
Hi everybody!
Thought I would share some pic of my projekt. Iv been runing the car with standard 24v Cossie lump for 8 years but now its going to get a Borg Warner Turbo re-make
This is as fore as Iv comed and I will update more when Iv made more progress!

Jepp, singel turbo it is!
@ 1bar and with octan booster to compensate the 9.7.1 comp. it should end up around 450 hp.
Just by geting a freeflow manifold/ intake and porting the heads gives a around 50hp increes! And 200hp gain with that turbo is no problem

Fulesystem is a Bosh 044 pump, 3/8" inch braided hoses al the way with hydraulic cuplings. Standard fuleraila and 540cc injectros.
If ur going for N/A tuning this is the shit my friends!

This alone will easyliy give 35-40 hp.. with headers, porterd and polish heads and better cams; The shit will hit the fan!
This engein has massive potensial! We ported the heads 10mm!! Cosworth were doing everyting for keeping the power down..

Those ITBs look expensive! i would rather throw my money at a turbo than those! bet they sound good full chat though! Are you going to fabricate a manifold from stainless steel to match up with your turbo and exhaust ports? just i saw you have cleaned up the standard manifolds in your re-build pics

Nja, 42mm regular steel and wrap it.
When I started the re-bulid i was just gonna clean it up and fix the cain but the it got out of hand...hehe.. So thats why the manifolds were painted.

As all these projekts do! Im doing 24v turbo myself, using cast manifolds, then joining them together with steel tubing what are the specs of your turbo?

Think this will be a good turbo for the 24v.. The goal isent to max power but get a car that will be driveible but still scare the shit out of you!
