Default passionbmw peeps! dpf removal ***MSD***

alrighty, i bought my 330d a little bit back and now i'm getting dpf filter warning on the screen, already remapped and stats been done(holds high 80's down the Mway).
so who to go to for the delete, i'm not replacing it if it won't regen.
i've taken it for a blast and it's kicked out loads of crap, but still seems down on power.

msd for mapping it out as per remap, but would stripping it out and welding a pipe through be better or just getting a delete pipe.
bit disappointed to be fair as it does get a fair amount of long runs, just not in the last two weeks.

Be better if it looks like it is still there with regards to the mot, unless your usual tester isn't arsed.

i was thinking of just cutting the casing over, ripping guts out and fitting a smooth pipe through it.

Without changes to the electronics ripping out the guts of a DPF will result in fault codes and a lit engine malfunction lamp.

I had my DPF removed and coded out by a company called Top Gear Motorsport on my E92 330d.

Was really happy with the work that they did, basically gutted the DPF and re welded down the original welds so with a bit of road grime you probably wouldn't know if you looked underneath. I would recommend them.

so i'm thinking of knocking out internals and welding lid back on dpf.
this will be a long job due to removing dpf is a pain so i read.

questions:
1, will i be able to drive to msd for it to be written out of coding?
2, anything else needed to be done in regards to mapping as it has already had map changed.

It's an e90, looks tight at a glance.
I even thought of drilling from the bottom to break it up.
Fabricating an off centre drill bit so it will mangle the ceramic with ease, whilst flushing with air from turbo.
Just thoughts, but when i get some evening I'll crack on.

had a quick look, hmmmm...
will be a painful job just getting round, may just attack the dpf porcelain from the pipe coming out of it, will be messy but will clear the dust quickly i'm sure.

When you remove the DPF, you will get a DPF low efficiency code and MIL which will eventually trigger limp mode. The car is still drive-able though.

I've got to have this done to mine as my dpf is dead.
My question is
Should I remove the egr valve and have that mapped out at the same time?
What's the down side to removing the egr?

No downsides to blanking and mapping egr out...
Only plus sides...
Less coked up inlet, no stupid egr fault lights, not replacing or cleaning egr every 5 minutes...
It's all win win...
Get rid of it...

MSD force closed (I think that's the term) my egr and runs a bit smoother .
Other than that it's all long term benefits with all clogging up with crap. And bad running.

Although I still need to remove the egr and clean it to make sure it is closed fully.

i haven't had mine done yet, i took it for a drive, stopping when fault lit up, killed ignition and waited five mins, run again and it cleared up nicely.
i would get dpf removed, egr coded out and then it'll run nicer and cleaner, well in terms of power and smoothness anyway.
