Convert C20LET Engine Harness to fit Zetec?
I've bought a secondhand DTA S60 with an engine loom for the vauxhall engine (pretty cheap as long as its working ok). Its going on a Zetec/ST170 engine with GSXR ITB's.
I know the answer essentially is yes it can be used on a zetec if the connectors are swapped around, and lengths altered etc.
But could I use the vauxhall coilpack instead of splicing in a zetec coilpack connector? I know it could be sequential ignition but I'm trying to keep costs to a minimum so wasted spark is fine with me. Are there any other big factors apart from stuff like the polarity of some of the sensors etc?
I could try selling the loom but from what I've found on the internet it probably cost £290+ to have it made new and it is very well made so I'd much prefer to use it if possible.
Any reason why not?
