I've given up with body shops.

I just can't seem to get a decent job done in a reasonable time frame.

The guy that is working on my Focus is taking the piss. Nearly 5 weeks to paint both front wings, bonnet, both bumpers and rear arches.

He's had the car longer than I have!!

I work in the body repair game. I understand what your saying, unfortunately there is a lot of piss takers out there try to avoid the ones doing insurance work. Because insurance work always get priority over the cash job and then the cash job gets forgotten about, seen it loads of times. I can know a superb bodyshop down here in essex, if your willing to travel. A good mate of mine that I've know for years has just started up his own bodyshop. We did our apprenticeship with porsche many years ago. He's one of the best painters I've seen and has a great attention to detail.

Why not buy the underseal and go to one of those places that rents a ramp by the hour. An underseal gun is peanuts to buy and at least you know that the coverage will be up to scratch because you have done it yourself.
