well this is how it turned out..
too many wankers ruin everybody elses fun!!
for those who don't know what happened.. some people started throwing rocks/bricks at police cars, as a result they called down at least 20 cars/vans with dogs and a mini riot started! not cool!! resulted in at least 20 people being nicked and ace cafe having to close for at least 2 weeks, so if you wer planning to go anytime soon doesnt look like thats gonna happen!
people love to ruin it for everyone else!!

Also heard this morning 2 pals of mine had their cars damaged a Focus mk1 and a saph ,its fcuking pathetic its a car meet for gods sake

it has always attracted chavs tho - not just on a ford night but most car nights.
I think the only time i didnt come across chavs or pikies at ace was when they had the american classic car night - not one incident. Even the women would dress up in 50/60s clothing including havin their hair done too
Sooo glad i didnt go in the end - the thought crossed my mind but then couldnt be arsed - good job really.

guess this is what happens when such cars get cheap enough for CHAV cunts to own them
As said you dont get trouble at classic american nights as i suspect its waaay too old skool for any chav types to ever buy into that scene.
I suspect its similar at hod rod nights, kit car meets, ferrari meets etc. I guess the kind and cost of car only attracts certain generations of people or people who can afford the type of car.
Sadly fords and other mainstream brands are affordable to all, which is part of their appeal obviously, but the down side of appealling to all means its just as likely to appeal to decent folk as it is scummy cunts.
I may be being a bit "classist" maybe saying that but its fucking true and the reality of what you see in the real world so it seems.
Ive noticed the same at car shows too.. go to any ford/vauxhall/jap car show and there is ALWAYs a chavvy or boy racer element there, either in the cars or the public who attend. Obviously its just a reflection on the demographic of those who attend such shows, as it is with such meets in the first place.
Yet go to a decent classic car show, kit car show, custom car show etc and you very rarely if at all see the boy racer element.
The other one ive noticed is the "toilet test" go to a ford show/jap show etc and despite regular maintenance by staff, the toilets are fucking disgusting pretty quick and stay that way, people pissing all over the floor etc etc, ie just as bad as public loos on the street. Go to something like a kit car show/custom car show and every time ive been no matter what the time, the loos have been clean and presentable.... now tell me why that is?? maybe they can afford to pay more cleaners?? maybe its the type of people meaning that more people will respect others and leave facilities like loos how they would like to find them.... Makes you wonder, do the morons who piss all over loos and leave a mess do that at home? or is it just in public because they have no respect for anyone or anything??

classic cars tend to be run by classic looking types where as young and exciting cars that handle well and exude boy racerism tend to be driven by those who they are aimed at
so if you have an old codger who's going to drive his car nice and easy on a sunday afternoon he's going to take better aim and wash his hands after pointing percy at the porcelain

seriously though the ford nights have been banned from there in the past, looks like this will happen again soon.
recently we went to the mini and mod meet down there and no trouble at all, goes to show the demographic of the owners though :-(

I was there last night and the problem came from the non-ford drivers as far as i could see. A vauxhall corsa is not a ford or did i miss something. If these people stayed away the rest of us wouldn't have to suffer.
I asked a group of young lads (17/18 yrs old) to stop pushing the buttons on the sides of the bus to open the doors, to be told to get lost in so many words, why do they feel the need to do it. If i hadn't have had my little boy with me i would have given them a smack. Don't get me wrong i was no angel at 18 but a least we had respect for the Police. The same happened with Chelsea cruise when it was in the Park. A small group of less intelligent people spoiling it for everyone. I could see things getting a bit out of control so left just before 10pm. Glad i did now.

my bad, its just what i heard last night. i just dont understand why people like to ruin it for everyone else when the ford scene is obviously so bloody popular and especially during the summer it always is a decent turn out.. why fuck it up so we've got nowhere else to go! ace cafe is only about 10mins from me and ive been going for about 3 years now. have had some great days out there! so much for that now
I totally agree ,but not on the comment no place to go its called your local Middx RSOC and we are busy at our monthly meets
not if you live near the ace cafe as the 8 ball is way out in the sticks for us middx folk and its not that big
