I work for brittish gas and all our newer vans(connects, combos, kangoos) have 70 mph limiters.
I would love to know how to remove it as my CDTI combo is a flyer..........until 70

I've got an '06 one and can't say I've ever noticed anything but I've not done over 90 in it (only 70 not on a private road of course)

My previous transit (07 115 t330 rwd),had a factory 70 mph limiter, and the i.d.s. couldn't remove it,so its re-map time i'm afraid,or get to know someone that can over ride the i.d.s. (it can be done with a secret code )
I have another transit presently (07 85 t280 fwd),and that does 90 mph flat out.

Transits have several limiters inbuilt to the PCM and is set by the dealer or at factory.
The options are 56mph, 65mph, 70 mph or none. If you select none, the van will pull to 100 but then stop pulling as it still has a limiter.
