Default Mikalor clamp sizes help please!

Hi all,

What size clamps should I use for RS500 75mm intercooler piping please?

Just had a quick look up, and the hoses are 73mm to 79mm, or 79-85mm, and I didnt want to order the clamps and them be the wrong bloody size! I know Samco hoses are pretty thick walled!

Thanks a lot in advance

Mikalor are great Exhaust clamps but garbage on boost hoses, they always leak!

And shear when removing them if you have 2,iirc there's 2 types and sure the clamp with the stainless drive screw is the 1 that breaks, seems the threads get galled up then they break.
I have them on my exhaust and they are great the smaller the o/d of the pipe, the bigger they definitely struggle to clamp the connection together.

The best clamps I've used on boost pipes were Murray constant tension clamps. You can get then on eBay.
Not cheap but they never blew off

Forget mikalor clamps, they always leak due to not sealing in a circle of that makes sense?

Use Murray jubilee's. Not cheap, but nothing good ever is
