Thread on the rsoc says the guy gave 20k for it off some old guy ?

I had agreed a deal and he backed out when it first came on eBay , he backed out another few deals according to the thread , needs a lot of paintwork as well as putting back to standard

Tbh I wouldn't buy it now as he was getting a good turn off me which is fine but obviously wasn't enough for the guy

Think it's been getting run on eBay aswell as bids were above the current buy now last time out

Why would it need putting back to standard? Ever driven a standard 500? Might have been something in the 80's but if you want to drive it and not be overtaken by almost anything it needs decent upgrades.

It's a straight car that will be going back to standard, it's having a full under bonnet resto early next year. Paul Linfoot will be carrying out the work
