The ahmed springs or eibach are best with konis for a nice ride height and ride..
Your prob find if it isnt poly bushed it will need it as its not usually the springs that will make a car feel harsh its the components around them..
Check the roller bearings in the rear trailing arms and the top mount bushes on the front struts also the tca ends..these are the things that make them feel crash bangy especially when the car sits too low..
Ahmed springs, I certainly would not go for Eibach!
I, incidentally, have just gone from one to the other, the Ahmed ones are much better, being near enough standard ride height, and the ride is improved, although it's still pretty firm, but no worse than standard I shoulden't think!
The main things you can do at the rear to improve matters is by replacing the beam and diff mounts.

Martin
That is so funny because the ahmed springs are made by eibach i was told!!lol
brake it then lol I'd have the diff and beam in it by now! Plus build up your 200 block and put the 450 engine in the 3dr. Then sell every thing else to fund good brakes and painting the 3dr
Bayjoo springs for sure, without a doubt,I purchased a set from Mr Rainbird last month and a set for my last 3dr,excellent springs and will work well with the Konis. The springs are made by Leda as stated by Rainbird.

Thanks.Lee.
Lee, have you got any pics of the ride height with the new springs fitted ?

I haven't Steve, take a look at my old car with them fitted. They ride quite high at the rear and lower at the fronts, you can get the track version aswell, the only difference being 15% stiffer only on the rears(oh ey mrs),the front springs are exactly the same in track or fast road form.
Rainbird hasn't any fast road springs in stock,I had the last set but he does have the track springs. However he will be having another batch of fast road springs, not sure when, you will have to ask him.
Roller bearings in the rear trailing arms, where are those?
At the two pivot points each trailing arm has, alot of people polybush these (Which makes for a terrible ride, so I hear) but the rose bearings are alot better but are also very expensive!
