I think people would start using a 044 pump with greys to be safe.

my mate ran them for a few years on his saff and did a few sprints with it too with no problems at all.. he now runs a std pump on his 4x4 anglia rally car with greys t34 antilag and also has no problems.. and its not even a new std pump either.. his cars get used regularly and hard..

When mine was checked it was getting a bit dodgy top end on the standard pump, not to mention that the fuel filters are best changed too

Yes of course you can run greys on a std 941 pump, the issue that you might get is not enough fuel flow dependant on what power you're after and the age of the wiring/health of the pump, as I assume the greys are for a power upgrade ?
There's not a huge amount of difference between a std 941 and a 044 flow wise, but the 044 is higher.
