l6 to l8 conversion what do i change
as above what is needed for me to convert from l6 to l8 ecu

i think you need the 4x4 tps and swap the 2 outer wores around on the connector . pretty sure thats all i did and obviously the ecu swap..

so its that easy...
is it the same for fitting p8 as that would suit him more....
then chris you can run closed loop/ anti lag/ launch control/ air injectors/ piggy back dizzyless ignition the lot.... and its the best for mapping

You need a PF09 (4x4) TPS and you then have to swap the outer two wires, L8 can do everything mentioned, i.e Anti-lag, Launch control, CL, Air injectors, WS, L6 is also capable of WS if wanting to!

I don't think the mapping can be made better, but rather the hardware is better, for example it has double the memory of the L6 (128K opposed to 64K), I am pretty sure it's just a board inside that differentiates the two (Excluding the visual differences, CO screw, wings etc) remove this board and your left with an L6
