Looking to put some on my car, what length to people generally go for?

Wana fit them along with the open ended nuts for when i run my flat faced comps.

what are people using or used in the past?

I got mine from a local performance parts place but their made by eibach, they were part of a kit for a hubcentric spacer kit I used to run. I'd recommend eBay or speedshack for better prices though, I can't remember what length they were but I'm sure it's M10x1.5 thread.

standard ford studs are M12 x 1.5 and are readily available on abay in various lengths

The grp a studs are M14 x 1.5 and use a collar/sleeve on the inner part of the stud

NO mate, M12 is the standard ford wheel stud diameter and 1.5 is the pitch (distance between teeth on the stud)

Hence grp a studs are M14 which is a size up from standard so they are beeffier/stronger to withstand the greater abuse a rally car gets

oh right, so they dont actually run them any longer on the rally cars?

i used to studs from the rear of a transit twin wheeler.just pop straight in an alot longer an easy to get.

i believe standard are 47mm and if fitting group A 63mm can be used.

the ones on my old car were group a

i've just posted this as its just been seen again, check the wheels, they where 8x17 et20 and i got the studs from ears motorsport
