Above the prop it's connected to the handbrake lever. Someone with small hands (I can't ) might be able to reach between the floor and the prop to undo it. There is a tiny circlip around a pin, going through the bracket on the cable. Be careful not to lose the circlip as it's really, really small.
Give it some play with the (white plastic) adjusters (you might need to spray it WD40 or something similar and let it soak for a while so you can undo it) underneath the car. You should be able to seperate the cable from the handbrake lever now.
You can then take the cable out of the (bending) clamps on your trailing arms.
Use the mechs of the calipers to pull the inner cable a bit further through. You can then wiggle the "eyes" of the cable from the caliper hook. I managed by pulling the inner cable between the hole on the calipers and the eye towards me so enough slack is created on the inner clable so you can sort of twist it of the hook.
It's a bit fiddly but as soon as you've done it once it's easy enough. Try not to bend the inner cable too far or you'll damage the nylon coating. If you can't get the eye of the hook try giving the inner cable a bit more slack.
Can't explain it more clearly, sorry m8.

slacken teh cable off all the way first
then unhook the caliper ends, use a screwdriver and brute force because that's what they need really
then unclip the little circlips on the caliper ends that hold the cable into the slot
then get underneath and undo the clip that hold the cable to the handbrake mechanism

They DON'T need brute force. Take your time and it's straightforward enough.
A grinder will indeed do it in 30 seconds But handbrakecables costs about 28 Pounds. ouchie in the wallet....
