rear brakes!
I have changed my rear discs and pads today.
Now the handbrake nearly touches the roof when you use it!
How do I adjust it?
Many thanks and all the best to everyone!

follow the cable from the caliper to the middle just over the prop shaft
behind the sub frame, its where the left and right cable comes together..
hope this works

Just to add there is a white plastic adjuster in two halves, one the adjuster, one the locking collar, you will easily see it on one side can't remember which, but just turn this to tighten, then use the plastic pin to lock and this goes in the hole in the bracket that secures it in place.
Just find the white plastic collars and it will become very clear to you.

I recall it's located on the passenger side (in my case on the driver's side as I have a LHD car) but as T. above says, once you've found the bracket it's very straightforward. The adjusting screw might be well goo'd up. Suggest you let it soak in WD40 for example before you try to undo it.

pull them apart again (the calipers) and wind them back again
then use the FOOTPEDAL with the ignition on to make the pistons come out far enough to make the braking work as it is
THEN use the handbrake to get the piston to the right place and if it THEN needs adjusting you can adjust it via the platic screw thingies under the passenger side of the prop (on a rhd car)
undo the locking nut first and then use the adjusting nut to figure out where you need to tighten it until
once this is done you can then use thelocking nut to lock it up and replace the locking pin that locks the locking nut to the adjuster nut
but i can't remember the last car i saw with one of them still in place
