Default RATTLE ON MY 4X4

When I'm in 4th gear either slowing down or going down a hill using the gear for a little engine breaking there is an annoying rattle or grinding noise.
It sounds like it coming from the rear diff.
But it bizzarly it goes when i accelerate and I dont hear it, and stops if i put the clutch in or coast.
Doe's anyone have any ideas?

could even be something as simple as exhaust position/adjustment aswell.

the exhausts can be very tight on these, and need to be "loaded" up with a bit of tension to keep them in the correct position,
worth a look before you go spending money

i had something very similar, that was the exhaust had moved a bit and was knocking on the UJ, but when in gear underload it shifted the exhaust enough not to catch

Yeah, we'll look at the front exhaust mount, thats what caused a rattle on my old Saff. Might just need pushing back on
