Default 2wd only spinning on 1 wheel????

when my cosworth comes on boost and breaks traction it is only spinning the drivers rear wheel,not that i spin it but i gave it sum last nite and noticed this any idears or is it just me being daft

not sure on that mate.. i know when i give mine a good boot it pulls one spinning usually back end pulls left.. maybe something on the diff wrong but dont take my word see if some of the guys on here who seem to know a hell of alot can help..

all depends on what diff is in the rear.
if it was possie trac both would spin.

most sierra's have limited slip from what I have seen. as for the cossie rear ends. I dunno.

limited slip is better for road course. possie trac is better for drag racing.

using possie trac on the road would net less traction because the wheel speeds would try to be the same but they cannot.

LSD is a bit tired mate. You could try a oil change to see if that helps it at all.

Is it not the lsd cause the diff stops both wheels spinning so that u can get grip.

In a word your diff is knackered, if only one spins, unless it is by a tiny amount(of spin).
When they are good both wheels will be roughly equal.

with the car hanging in the air; on one of my cars both the rear wheels spin the same direction. on the other when you spin one the other spins the other way.....

two different rear ends?

sometimes my clutch slips or could it be the diff slipping only does it now and then in 3rd/4th gear

LSD on cossie will always turn the same way(wheels).

is it possible for the diff to sumtimes slip makeing it fell like the clutch??

Hi if it was your clutch the u would here the revs of the engine go up like u are revin ur engine when standing still with no load ..first of all i would change the oil in the diff then try....to check clutch find a hill 3rd gear and let it come on boost to see if u can feel clutch slipping ......
