easy way taking rear springs out ???

Default easy way taking rear springs out ???

as abover really can you do it with out cutting the springs and droping rear beam 2wd saff

You can get them off by taking bolt out from top of shocks, unbolting ARB, disconnecting rubber brake lines and using spring compressors.

This worked well for me as i was putting braided lines on anyway. I'm sure other people will have other suggestions.

I have done lowered springs by just levering out after disconnecting shock, from the bottom of the spring, stand on the arm and push down as you do it.

nice one lads i thought it was a 2 man job undone shock done anti roll bar the spring does half come out just need some one to stand on the arm them

I changed them on my old sierra buy dropping the shocker bolts off removing the brake flexy pipes n had a big long bar n leavered the arm down.

droping the rear beam is not that hard. I normally just unbolt what I need to let the rear arm swing down. a little force is needed to help it down the rest of the way to get the spring out. sometimes droping the rear beam can help. dont have to be droped much.


should try doin the front springs on a mustang if you think that is hard.
