Default 4x4 funny noise

my 4x4 cosworth has developed a noise in the engine bay, its sort of a metally wearing noise but only at low revs under light loads. its had a rebuilt engine about 8000 miles ago and a recon turbo less than 3 weeks ago. I thought the noise was the turbo so got it recon'd buts its still there and now its beginning to piss me off, any ideas would be great cos im realy considering selling it.

no mate, its defo coming from the offside front of the engine bay but ive got a new clutch to go in at the weekend. Its started before the turbo was fitted cos thats what i thought it was, but a 400 quid turbo cant be making the same noise surely realy am thinking of selling it
