I seem to remember reading somewhere that a BMW 535 throttle body is a straight swap for a cossie and that it is the same internal diameter as the RS500. Not answering your question there Could just be bollocks though ?

well, to tell u the truth its not for a cossie, its for my uno turbo. im having to get a spare plenum and do some home mods which involve cutting off the standard throttle and getting handy with a welder and making another one fit with a much larger diameter.
im looking for something around the 2.5 - 3" area, and just wondered what the cosworth one was as its pretty readily available.
the standard uno one is far too restrictive for mt engine spec and Boost im running, its just holding the whole engine back, so drastic measures have to be done!
any more help would be really appriciated, cheers

I have just walked aropun to my garage and checked(10 mile walk, ok 300 yards), anyway the inside diametre(engine side) is about 55mm did not have my digi vernier working as battery dead.
Throttle plate itself is lightly smaller so I would say it is around 50mm at this point which is the smallest point in housing.
Hope this helps, the plate is defo smaller than the 55mm inner size, best guess 50mm.
