Default Ford Badge

This may have been talked about many times before but i thought you guys would know.

I cant get the orignal ford badge from the Ford garage. The badge design has been revised 4 times in total.

The ford badge you can buy now is Part Number 4673491. And this is not the correct style that is fitted to sierras.

Lots of people must have got new badges in the past.

Where/how will i get one?

Regards Bruce

I wouldn't have a clue about where to get one new, but you could just trawl any scrap yard and get a few from there. I found some excellent condition ones on scrapped fiestas and escorts a few years ago locally!

I bought two new ford badges from Ford in August last year. They were about Ł10 each though! They were the correct type for the sierra.

As for the breakers yard option I wouldn't bother as the badges fade over time so they never look as good as a brand new one.

I'd try Ford again as they were definately available a few months ago.

I checked my local ford deal and they only have the new design.

I could ask if they could get them in from another dealer. That a good idea?

They should be able to get them in from another dealer I doubt they've discontinued them already.
