what engine is in a racing puma???? isit the normal 1.7 engine, which is in all normal 1.7 puma's????

zetec se

with some trick cams, exhaust manifold and intake plenum, ECU map.

same block as the 1.7 yes

as above pretty looking inlet and exhaust mani cams that are timed 10 dergrees advanced and a ecu map

One that never makes the claimed power

It's a breathed on 1.7 with a very expensive inlet. Can think of better engines TBH...

my frp made 151 bhp 4 years ago and 149 bhp last year so not far off the stated 153bhp is it?

they dont make the power when people that dont know anything about the cars time them up with the standard puma tool when they need the specific tool made for the frp which only about 10 ford garages that we know of have one.

so its more down to people being idiots rather than ford claiming the wrong power .
