Hi guys thank you for letting me join

I have recently bought a 1.8 focus 130000 miles on clock well serviced or so I believe 2004

Following fault codes p0251 p0401

Following problems

First problem: Glow plug light turns on for 1 second causing it hard to start in morning if I manual hold a wire from possible off battery to glow plug harness and heat them up manually it starts fine

Second problem: glow light comes on and car cuts out restart car and it's fine but I noticed it mostly does it if I put my foot down in a high gear like if I slow down to 50 on motoway and put my foot down in 5th gear
