ST170 Starting problems
Hey guys
Yesterday morning on the way to work engine cut out. No warning lights, just slight hesitation and loss of power 10 seconds prior.
Anyway, engine is turning over, battery strong etc but not firing
Checked spark, all ok, pulled the fuel line from filter turned on ignition and pump works ok. Had new plugs 6 months ago, new IMRC unit and alternator.
Any suggestions?

I'm Finding My Feet Here Now
Hi mine did something similar bout 4 months ago and all I did to fix it was disconnect the battery which reset the ecu and after a minute connected it back up and it started fine.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
I can tell you these are at a funny age where there are lots being broken.
Depends on spec, for the base spec the main value is the engine. You will struggle. Higher spec with full leather, climate, better lights £300 would be no problem.
I am braking one for a track day car, I got £30 for the interior. I cant be arsed with the rest its going in the bin.
Wheels and brakes seem to sell.
What spec is it and where in the world are you ? I started with a five door and should have waited for a three.
