wanting to start a project
ok i purchased 2 2.3L turbo motors and am wanting to do a focus build and make it a rwd based awd like the famous cosworth escorts needing some help on drivetrain parts. like what kind of drivetrain im gonna need and part numbers and such. Ford/europe rules in general displacement is nice but overated ne ways any help that could be given would be great
oh yeah i already have a svt focus so im already in the focus ring and know quite a lot about them but this awd concept that im wanting to build is got me a little puzzeled i know im gonna probably have to order my parts from over europe or luck out and find some one parting out a sierra or a cosworth escort very unlikely
Thanks guys
Justin

Ive been planning the conversion for some time....
RS2000 4x4 is the easiest route, but just cant see it handling big power numbers...
Dog, the scooby gear wont fit, however, the Evo gear will. but its around the Ł8k price, drive in drive out, using FQ400 stuff.
Im still trying to find out more

Oh yeah there have been a few complete conversions, but the Evo engine is structly more simular to a Zetec/Duratec than a scooby engine for adapting the running gear.
