Default Focus RS everyday car advice

Basicly passed my test at 17 and got a fiesta zetec s, Now at 18 have a 200bhp s2 rst but kinda miss the newness off the fiesta, but definitly dont want to come away from a turbo!

Would the focus rs be a good contrast?
Whats their MPG at standard?

And before anyone says i can insure it

Cheers!

Default MPG - Focus RS

If you drive it like a hooligan then you can expect 200 miles from a tank.

Normal driving i can get over 300 miles out a tank of approx £48-50

Works out at about 30MPG +

You wont regret getting one, i would give it serious consideration.

I drive mine every day and I fookin love every minute of it!
It drives just like any other Focus! But handles better and goes like the clappers

The only thing is that it may cost more than a standard Focus in upkeep. Tyres, servicing etc.. At the end of the day Ford's serviceing states every 12K or one year, so it was designed to be used as an every day beast.

Reliability may become a factor the more you mod it and move away from factory spec. As long as you have it set up by the professionals and ensure your AFR's are ok at the top end, you cant go too wrong and it will continue to be reliable.

I use mine everyday and get about the same amout of juice as everyone else, I do have a lead foot however so go through it quick! I have Decat and Filter but waiting for my DS unit to arrive, this will surely make me spend more money on drink

Easy to live with a day to day basis. I have done over 135000 miles in focus RS's, owned 2 to date, still love driving them and i will of had one for 5 years in march. Quite juicy though to use everyday, luckily my boss pays for all my fuel .

I get around 300 miles to a tank, averaging about 30+ also........some people say that its not a great car for everyday use, I disagree, as its got everything you need comfort wise etc.
