Default megasquirt maps feedback

He guys,

Lately i've been mapping my megasquirt till 0.5 bar and got a base map that was quickest from 2000rpm till 6000rpm in 4th gear. Now i have made some changes to it and prepped it to run higher boost with some assumptions. I am not looking for a 100% perfect map as i am mapping on the streets and i am not a pro yet. But i am just wondering if anybody has any feedback on my map. Am i off somewhere in somebody's opinion? I'm running a standard engine with GRS front mount

Comming sunday i might be able to do some extra mapping. First gonna test this compared to the last base map i had too see if i gained or lost a lot. Then if it runs without det i will turn up boost

No problems yet, but at idle i might need to smooth timing as it might start to hunt between the 12 and 13. No temp issues yet, but haven't driven it for really long times yet

If it's a cvh engine it won't be the timing making it hunt at idle it will be that your afrs are to lean. Drop it to low 14s it likes it better

As above, a CVH will not like being that lean at idle or on cruise, also as you appear to be running closed loop fuelling (hence the AFR table) do not run it on boost, if your lambda fails or you get a incorrect signal you could go lean.

I already changed this after your input guys. However i am not running closed loop yet. I will first map it open loop and then set closed loop active with a maximum change of 2% or something like that. I won't set timing on the limit, so should be able to handle that

My VE table was off so i didn't meet AFR targets so have been working on that. That is much better now. Heard some slight knock, but was driving alone so couldn't adjust it directly. So i need to spend some more time. It misfired now a few times as it went way too rich and timing is too early. So have been mainly working on getting fueling right and then the hose from radiator to thermostathousing broke.

Gonna check plug gaps and clean em. Get new MOT change hose and map further. Boost is back to max 0.4 bar, so till there it is validated

Got one problem i need to check. In the logger the boxes of acceleration enrichment go green sometimes, while the AE is off. I putt the lower threshold to 9000. So shouldn't be active. Still need to check that
