Default track car rear suspension set ups what are you running ?

I'm almost at the stage of doing the rear suspension on my track car.. atm its got gaz coilovers. I'm thinking of going for adjustable rear tie bars and parallel bars to replace the wishbones. I want them all rose jointed etc. What you running and any pic's ?

Jano does them, but only in batches as far as I recall? None available last time I enquired though.
Mef stopped making them years ago as did zoo

Muz made his own recently, getting decent rose joints is the key as they aren't cheap for quality items!

Yeh sure he has. There in his resto thread. Check it out mate.

Like I said there not particularly complex or anything just need cds tube and decent joints really.
the originals had conical rose joints (not sure if hats the right name) for the tie bars but normal joints can be used, just offset like i think muz has done (cant quite remember) Think the special ones are hard to come by...

what did you do about the plastic covering gus (when adding the bracket for arb)? Mine are sleeved in a clear rubbery plastic coating.

Was also after a set of those Bilstein s but gave up looking and went gaz golds as got a good deal on a new set from factory!

I'm using RS1600i front and rear ARB's, Leda coilovers and made the rear kit myself all held together with 12.9 bolts. The parts for the bars, ie CDS tube, joints, bungs etc alone were around £400, IIRC, without the fab time. For example it took around 10 hours to turn the spacer reducers out on the lathe!
