No need, OFAM can use any TPS and other sensors too.

Question...
Just about to buy megasquirt and install parallel to my focus ECU. Do I need to buy the fan outputs or will the standard ECU control this fine still, as it still has the CTS reference?

And if I were to go ahead and buy them could I splice them in together with the old loom or would I need diodes to prevent damage to the ECU?

Cheers!

As it's been mentioned about old ford wiring being pony etc I'm deciding to go with megasquirt ms2 and just start with fresh wiring, which also entitles me to use all blacktop inlet sensors etc. Can I use an escort RS turbo air temp sensor as il hav plenty of them about me.

And are the vxr injectors literally plug in and play, no adaptors or cups to sit them in? I do hav some Nissan 200sx injectors (330's or 360's I think) can I just use them? If so il chuck them in the inlet and bolt on a frst fuel pressure reg, then inlet goes on!! Management will then be purchased!! 👍
Sorry bout all the questions but I'm in final stages now and if I don't need to pay out for vxr injectors as iv got 200sx and ain't gotta buy air temp sensor as can use RS turbo one then il be ordering management!
Massively appreciated!!!!

Just to add I used cossie air and water temp sensors as they easily sourced and the data for the management is on big turbo.

I advise you mod the ledge on the inner wing where the engine mount attaches to make some clearance for the timing belt guide pulley.

This is before the ledge was trimmed. The gap between the tensioner and body closed further when I fitted the vibratechnics gearbox mounts.

My rear breather turn was very close to the driveshaft so I had to have a 90degree bend as soon as the hose attaches.

Stick a picture on. Mine had a couple i blocked, they had pipes on them i blocked them with bolts pushed in with rtv sealant and hose clips if my memory serves me well. The other outlets I used for boost gauge and map sensor.

Silver top fits, read through entire thread you will see mine with extra port added. Pipes in your picture i didn't have, they look like fuel pipes? I used focus rs inlet, throttle body is bigger fuel pipes are diff too I think?

Haynes manual for focus or mondeo or autodata will sell individual info for about £8. I advise you buy the timing tools for blacktop zetec about £12 on ebay.

If everything is locked in correct position then it is timed up. If your not sure what you are doing find someone who does and get them to help you.
