Default Gaz or Avo Coilovers ??

I'm fitting a set of coilovers and want to know whats better Gaz or Avos. The car will be for road use only (mainly bumby roads as i live in Ireland) Your comments are welcome.

Not sure where the search function has gone, but I did a write up on Avo’s on my Escort Cossie a while ago, and the bottom line is, don’t go with Avo’s. I find mine very noisy on bumpy roads at low speed. Handling is good when up to speed, and noise disappears, not sure if that’s down to the “waste gate chatter” dump valve or amal dump, but if used as a day-to-day car (as a first car) with a family forget. My Escort is only driven one up “me” so is not to irritating.

I supply both GAZ and avo and in a totally unbiased opinion you will be much happier with GAZ
I can spec a less harsh ride for you on GAZ if you like but I can get avo's aswell.
p.m. me
Arty, dan, scott, and big-dirty-dog all have bought them off me and they seem happier enough!!!

Had mine for 5 mins, and the top adjuster on one of the struts broke...and Avo have refused to send a replacement so now my car has to sit on axel stands whilst they fooking fix it - and I have to pay Ł15 postage!!

On top of that the other side front shock squeeks like a bitch

Why do you think so??? What kind of difference is it if the strut has movable spring platform or not?
