Default bumper bolts!

people i need the two main bolts wot hold my monte front bumper on, as they are bent and cross threaded. ive been to ford and they cant get hold of them. Any help would be lovely!

do you mean the 2 that goes up from under the number plate

they are the height adjusters,presume you tried removing them? they are not meant to be removed

oh! well they are shagged and cross threaded so i need some new ones anyway. any idea where i can get them from?

you should be able to re tap threads into it with the right tool.

They are not available from ford. If you have right tools you can make them.

Sure some one on here can make a set.

I made exactly the same mistake the first time i took my bumper off, i re-tapped the holes and bought some bolts the same length and thread then ground the threads off about half the bolt and put a point on the end so they are easyer to get back in.

Have had these remade by someone local as mine were buggered beyond repair.
