New price of an EsCos was around 23 grand & that was more than 10 years ago.
Thus a new Focus would need to be costing around 35 grand (or more depending on how you chose to count inflation over the intervening years) to be comparable.
In conclusion then, this new Focus is perhaps more a Mk 5 RS 2000 for the 21st century than an Es Cos replacement 'cos it's just too cheap to be that.
Bear in mind that 35 grand buys a shiny new Imprezza or Evo, surely the cars we want Ford to be competing against, on the street, not just on the gravel.

And no I would not sell the escos for one as I would never buy a new car due to depreciation

I'm sure they could of built a true successor to the Escort for £30K & make it a proper rally replica. 4x4 350 BHP to compete with the Evo's & Scoobies.

is it true thier all that gren colour? if so i wouldnt want one, why would anyone want a car the same colour as every other one? its like the old focus RS, you go ford fair etc and have row of them, all look the same except from different private plates . cossies etc can be rare in certain colours giving them value etc, you'll never see that in a focus rs pmsl (just my opinion btw)
