Mnes off the road at the moment. winter tidy up of the bodywork starts monday. Six years of fast road use and the odd track day the paintwork needs a good overhall.

Nope, i'll aways regret not using my last one more so i bought this one to use. I'll give it a rinse down if the roads are salty ect but other than that, it gets used as much as i can

Can't really decide .... REALLY wanna drive it cuz i just bought it, but on the other hand, it is a shame to put such a classic and beautiful car out in winter-salt-s**tty weather ....
Right now its in a garage, but I am seriously considering to bring it out and just drive it.... It seems its gonna be a mild winter here in Denmark anyway, soo ...... grrrrr.... decisions, decisions..

Your car's turned into Michael Jackson!
Seriously though, don't you think that's a little OTT????
Especially in this day & age nobody give a shite how well its kept, and to get any decent money for them they have to be broke (PS its all very well peeps saying they'll never sell but it happens to the best of them in the end!).

I don't own one, but with regard to the "Should they be used this much?" debate, I'd say yes, provided they're kept in good nick! We all know we spend silly money on our cars, repairing or replacing any parts that show the tiniest of cracks, rust or damage, and if an engine's on its last legs, it gets a rebuild. So the only part of the car that's really affected by the use and mileage is the shell, so as long as that's given the necessary treatment and the paintwork is seen to when it needs it, what's the difference?

So due to this you think someone should pay over the odds for a car built in the 1990's
IE
Mine stored outside - 14K
Yours - Carcoon the lot - 16K
Now we could have the same spec's for aguements sake but due to i don't know......Limited space(which i have! ) you feel that your car should command 2k more. I mean there's no way either of us can classed as uncaring
Ps that actually a serious question mate!
As i can only imgine there will come a time where the call for something a little different (shall we say!) becomes too overpowering to ignore!
PPS Bloody Bufty's!

Mines been away for a while now. Id NEVER use mine in the wet as the thought of the underside getting covered with dirt and water goes through me.
Although i must admit, if the underside wasnt as clean as it is, i would probably use it alot more and maybe even in the rain every now and then, with a good proper clean afterwards. But NEVER in the winter months with all that salt and grit on the road. Water, salt and metal DONT go together all that well.
In my opinion, storing a car properly with a carcoon and/or a decent cover in a decent garage, shows that the car is very well kept, and that the owner has gone that extra yard to keep it as nice as possible.
