After some advice....
I'm about 5'11" and weight about 16 1/2 st, and as a result of this (I think so anyway) my posture has gone to shit and I look like I've got a comedy huge beer belly
Now the gut hanging out the front has put loads of strain on my lower back and I'm really suffering with sciatica.
I know the basic ethos of consume less calories than I use and exercise, but I'm pretty fucked mobility wise at the moment, so anyone got any strengthening exercises/ideas for my lower back to improve my posture and haul the belly in?
When the strain is off the back a little I'll be able to start doing crunches and some lifting again.
I am seeking treatment for the sciatica btw, its just taking forever to get a appointment and I cant afford to see a private chiropractor or an osteopath
Cheers for any help
