MK1 Focus RS, #3404, 81K, Long MOT, Taxed, Few subtle modifications.
Hello guys and girls,
FINAL PRICE DROP, Scroll down for more info !
Here is the very reluctant sale of my pride and joy MK1 Ford Focus RS,
I have owned this car since September 2010, and it has been a pleasure to own.
She has covered 81,372 miles this is unlikely to raise very much as it’s currently covered over and doesn't get much use, 4 former keepers before me and very comprehensive service history.
Mot until August 2014
Tax until March 2014
All usual RS refinements, Genuine RS matts, RS key fob.
The past three services have been done by myself as I really don’t trust any local garages and always like to spend the extra money on performance oil and parts,
The services themselves are as follows.
3570 Dagenham motors 23/1/2004
23,848 Dagenham motors 12/11/2004
30,451 Perry’s 07/06/2005
31,509 Dixon Ford 23/04/2006
33,461 Peter Brooks Honda 22/06/2007
37,209 Gemini Cars 15/01/2008
45,125 Gower street Garage 22/05/2009
48,995 Gower street Garage 20/07/2010
53,900 Self-service, Oil, filter, Plugs 03/04/2011
64,000 Self-service, Oil, Filter, Plugs 14/01/2012
71,955 Self-Service, Oil, Filter, Plugs 14/09/2012
All of these services are backed up with paperwork, There is a comprehensive amount of that!
The cambelt was replaced by SCC, In 2011 at 56,990 so this will not need to be done again there is paperwork to back this up and a stamp within the book.
Since taking ownership I have installed a few worthwhile modifications including the following:
K&N Generation II air filter,
Scorpion/Custom exhaust system including Decat (sounds amazing)
Superchips Bluefin, (unit available with the sale)
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 alloy wheels
Front lower splitter
Please note the Alpine headunit pictured will not be included, The Misses would kill me if i sold my birthday present.
Im not going to claim that the car is cleaned every weekend like you see on so many adverts however I do pride myself on the condition of the paintwork compared to other similar age examples, there is the inevitable chip and scratch here and there but I do park away from everyone when possible, At some stage some very inconsiderate people have put a couple of very tiny dinks in the rear quarters with doors, however they match on both near and off side so I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same person.
Apart from this the bonnet and bumper have suffered from stone chips as these are prone too but again it isn't as bad as some I have seen.
The alloys unfortunately will need a refurbishment in the near future; they have been touched up but do look a little ropey in places. It has never really bothered me but again they are not immaculate, however they are all wrapped in good rubber and from a distance look the part.
Interior is very tidy, No tears or rips and it has never been smoked in, Seat bases aren't stitched however they are showing little signs of wear. The wheel has the inevitable (hold on for dear life) marks but nothing untoward.
I am extremely reluctant to sell this and have had to really push myself to do so; however I am in the process of starting a business so really need to release some of the equity tide up within this. As it is a second car to me I can’t have it sitting around so the time has come, for this reason I am on the lookout for a Mk5 Golf GTI, Audi S3 8l, Golf R32 or maybe even a Mk2 Focus ST-2 or 3 but they will need to be around the 4.5-5K price range so I will need some cash my way. However if you have any of these I would like to hear from you.
Any further information you require don't hesitate to send me a message or call on 07714731988
Price drop to : £6,500

Hello again,
Well when standard it was running bang on the book figure of 212, I had it dynoed shortly after getting it.
I haven't had her dyno'd since modding, However it should be running around 260BHP at it's current level. A nice live map with somewhere like sabre would get it easily to 300BHP.
Hope this helps

Price drop,
I gave her a wash yesterday and have spotted a crack in the very top corner of the front bumper where it meet's the wing, It's fairly small and isn't supporting in any way so should be easily repairable.
For this reason the price is now £6500, Obviously in an ideal world i would be getting this repaired myself but i do not have the time nor the resources currently with my business affairs.
