Default 2001 Impreza UK300 with STi engine, ex-morette show car £4250

I'm in the process of selling both petrol drinking cars with an aim of getting something cheaper to run, which no doubt I'll end up regretting but my bank balance will love!

2001 Subaru Impreza STi
85,000 miles (in daily use so will creep up)
MOT until April 2013 (last MOT passed no advisories)
Tax until Jan 2013

Just had a lot of money spent on servicing. I have recently replaced the clutch (including thrust bearing), full cambelt kit, new high performance brake discs, pads and braided hoses (godspeed brakes), new battery and all fluids changed. This car shouldn't need any major servicing for a long time now!

It has been damaged before, I bought it damaged to repair and have photos of all the work done. It only had panel damage so it was only a case of bolting off the old panels and bolting on new ones, I have photos to show the car was untouched under the panels! I also treated it to a respray so the paint work is faultless.

It was originally Morette (http://moretteshop.dyndns.biz/produc...products_id=44) show car as shown in picture 5. Due to this it has their top of the range head and tail lights which as you can see on their website are not cheap!! The headlights alone were over €1300. The tail lights are no longer available and I have never seen another Subaru with them. These can be seen in the last photo, that is this car in its show days!

At this stage it was a UK300 Impreza but it has since been treated to an STi engine and ECU giving it far more power.

This car is seriously fast and not for the feint hearted. Thanks to being 4 wheel drive it handles like it is on rails aswell.

My private number plate is not included in the sale, the car will be back on its original plate which is X649 ABV

I am based in Chichester and viewing is more than welcome.
£4250

Video of exhaust sound, its nicely toned when you open up but rumbles non-offensively when just cruising!

Thanks for your input!

This is a UK300 with an STi engine so not a run of the mill WRX, here are a few other UK300's for sale at the moment:

Thanks
It was a Cat C as the previous owner was only third party fire and theft and the crash was his fault so the claim against him was quite large!

Here's the pictures I have of the car under the wings to show they were unaffected:

Go for it mate, I'm a member on there too in fact you'll find the same ad for this car on there.

Having looked through your previous posts I can see my car is not the first you've posted on with your opinion of it's price, which leads me to ask why do you feel the need to post such derogatory comments on other people's for sale threads when you so clearly aren't interested in the vehicle being advertised?

Car looks spot on but being cat c it really does kick them in the balls.
It looks well repaired but sadly the logbooks marked now and a lot of people can't get over that in their heads and think its worth 50p.
As a general rule of thumb take 25-30% off for cat d and 35-40% for a c.
Harsh I know but that's what I found when I was dealing in bumpies, which is why I dont bother now.
I've got a cat d ka for sale with 13000 miles on it,there perhaps £150's of paint to make it showroom and I mean showroom the car is mint, drive it all over the country.
Can't get a look in on it,idiots offering a grand yet you look on eBay/auto trader and there £3500 cars with the miles/spec so I'm thinking of keeping it or keeping quiet when I sell it as the logbooks clean.
Tough market right now,but glwts of a really pretty car.
