lol every 106 and saxo you look at it 'cammed and mapped' but they always lose the proof :P

I know of a lot of very quick saxo's and none of them creep over 145/150 speedo speed at the top end of 5th so erm... dreamer lol

Not true, not true at all.
A mate of mine had a 106 gti with 708's, mild headwork and decent breathing that was mapped to a dyno (although that doesn't mean too much nowdays) proven 169 bhp

2 of my mates gti's did 138 with filter and exhaust on a local rolling road that is known to read a little low.

Although 140 in 4th?! its either revving to about 10k or has a derv box in it.

A good mapped, bodied, cammed and fully breathing saxo/106 16v will make around 180bhp+. Its not hard to get alot of power out of the TU5J4/TU5JP4. GMC Motorsport have a 400bhp supercharged vts and Atspeed Racing have a 410bhp turboed 106 GTI

I had a vts on an 02 plate brought it new had filter exhaust and decay was 145bhp on the dyno had 145 out of it but in 4th gear erm no Lol
