Default 2003 mk4 Astra Van 1.7DTi

Vauxhall Astra Van for sale
2003 / 03 reg
1.7DTi (later Isuzu engine’d one)
ONLY 63000miles with full main dealer history (except last service which was done at a local garage)
Long tax and MOT
Vinyl wrapped matt black but originally unmarked red
Tinted rear window
Beautiful condition, small dent on tailgate (as per most astra vans)
Sides are straight with no parking dings / dents etc
17” alloy wheels included in the price but also have the original steel wheels / tyres that will also be included
Fully ply lined / sound proofed / carpeted in rear (spare wheel still accessible)
Roof rails fitted
Seats are unmarked as per the rest of the interior (bar a bit of wear on the right hand horn button)
Drives faultlessly, everything works as it should, all keys present, manuals etc etc
HPi clear

It’s a great van (second Astra Van i’ve had), starts every time on the key and has never let me down. It has been vinyl wrapped in matt black vinyl but is easily removed (I didn’t like red but couldn’t say no to buying it with the mileage/condition/history). The pin stripe on the sides can also easily be removed. It has never done any hard work, was owned most of its life by a florist! Only selling due to not needed the rear space anymore and wanting a normal car for everyday use.

Asking Ł1850, van is based in Wickford, Essex. Can be signwritten with a heavily discounted price if purchased.

email me on chris.foster@sc.com for any info, pics to follow this weekend.

Cheers
Chris

white which isnt as desirable as red.

So it should be up for 900 quid judging by the price of this one

They are a desirable van, they hold their money well, especially the dervs.

Drive like a car, but stil a decent amount of space in the back.

genuine question, how bad are the diesel pump and ecu issues on these? some people say that its nothing to worry about, others say the end is nigh and run for the hills, so im left wondering lol

still gutted i didnt notice this 1, matt black would have worked a treat with my company stickers on it, and the fact u wud have done the signwriting cheap would have been an even bigger bonus

the search continues...

I had one issue with the electric thing on the side of the pump, all of a sudden it just wouldnt start!! Praying it wasnt the pump itself I swapped the electrical unit from my bro in laws van (which he was breaking at the time and oddly enough he bought off me about 5 years ago!) and it started on the button!!

Way I look at it is, if you are going to keep it, buy an aftermarket warranty for a few hundred quid, if it goes on your you're sorted, just make sure they are covered first!

I think the girl that bought it will take the wrap off as she was after a red one!!!!!!

here are some more pics if your interested....!

Fuck me, you try to offer someone something as they are in the market for one and you pipe up.......... Chip, its my work van so im not out and out selling it....if the guy is after one i have one that he may be interested in.....

And for your infomation he was "Ideally after a white one" in the PM he sent to me

In future remind me to always run the price of anything im selling past you first........ as it looks like your in charge of pricing.....

Tiff, the on the end of my post signified it as a joke.

The price of the van in this thread was WAY below market value in the first place IMHO, hence it sold for so much more as soon as he put it in ebay, so basing any valuation off of the back of what he had this one up for was never going to be serious.

in tiffs defence, and to anybody selling an astra van, i dont think there is any real market value trends with these, prices are all over the place. my mate just managed to pick up a really clean standard white 03 sportive with 70k on the clock for Ł1050! yet u find standard high mileage LS models that arent particularly clean going for nearer Ł2k on autotrader

bloody hard to find the perfect 1 at the perfect price. im finding this out the hard way.

As above its hard to put a price on vans, all about what someones willing to pay as the end of hte day. I priced it to sell fairly quickly and enough leeway to break even if I had to drop the price, thankfully I managed to make a bit of beer/girlfriend money in the process!!
