Fantastic Black 1999 Mk2 Mazda MX5, 1.8 UK Model
There's still some sun left out there somewhere yet! So grab a bargain for some top down action. Who cares about the sun anyway this little car is the nuts to drive even with the top down in the cold!
MOT - Passed its MOT 29th of June 2010, straight through no problems or advisories, so now MOT'd till the 29th of June 2011
Spec - It is a UK model so no difficult insurance companies or high premiums it is very easy to insure through all mainstream brokers. Electric windows, power steering, the usual MX5 1.8 UK spec stuff.
Tax - Will put 6 months on if full price is paid, otherwise to be negotiated at time of sale.
Mileage - 114,000, absolutely nothing for one of these amazingly reliable cars! Runs brilliantly, always serviced so the engine is in tip top condition, always starts on the button every time, returns fantastic economy and delivers great power.
Service history - Pretty much complete service history up to 109,000. Has had another oil change since so not due a service in quite some time yet. Also has K&N panel filter(the only modification) so you never need to replace it as these can be washed!
Location - March, Cambridgeshire, PE15 postcode
Engine and gearbox - In great condition runs lovely and has plenty of power. I believe these are circa 140bhp and it feels like so much more in a such a light little car it is such a fantastic drive with a very confidence inspiring chassis and drivetrain. Gearbox is a lovely smooth little 5 speed box, lovely direct change
General bodywork condition - The bodywork is in great condition for the year considering its 11 years old only the odd little mark as with any car of this age. The car has recently been professionally valeted with a full machine polish to bring out a LOVELY shine and finish on the paintwork, just look at it shine in the pictures and that's on a dull horrible overcast day, imagine it in the bright sunlight with the roof down blasting down some b road.
General running gear - all the suspension, brakes, diff etc all seems fine there are no odd noises knocks bumps or anything it drives fantastic.
Interior - All the interior is original and in fantastic condition. The only addition in here is a JVC CD headunit, standard speakers sound fantastic for what they are.
This is a fantastic little sports car and you will never read a bad word about the little MX5 it is truly a fantastic drive especially down some nice country lanes with the top down doesn't feel wallowy like a lot of convertibles it feels really tight and agile like an mx5 should do. Only selling because it is my second car, my "toy" if you like and I have decided to start my own business so anything that isn't an absolute necessity is up for sale to give me a bit of a start.
I am looking for £1900ovno I MAY consider PX(with money my way) or straight swaps if it interests me so try me with anything.
