Default CVH Trigger wheel & CPS

Does anyone have any guidance on fitting a tigger wheel and CPS to the standard CVH crank pulley? I cant use the toothed flywheel, and dont really want to use the heavy weight 1800CVH pulley.

Burton list a weber kit but its over £100! is there any alterantive? Happy to DIY it if not, but its another thing on the list!

That's exactly what I'm looking for! Did you have that made (or do you want to sell it?)

One thing I wasn't sure about, was if I should be attaching the trigger wheel to the pulley with a couple of tack welds to make sure it doesn't move, or just pinching it up tight when I tighten the crank bolt.

I just used the bolt to secure mine and it never slipped (was being rev'd to around 7800 so plenty of opportunity for it to move).

Think I got it off ebay from someone who machined up a few (was a good few years ago). I'll get down the shed over the weekend and check its all there

custom CNC pulley is available with built in trigger for CVH ZVH ZETEC. Less weight than std version.
similar in design to 1800cvh slightly smaller lighter and neat. Search a decent websites that offer custom components and parts.

another alternative is to fit the later flywheel from an efi cvh and drill the block,
just means dropping the gearbox out but its neat

i bought this kit off ebay a few years ago as well, might still be about?

Jano is suggesting that you contact him at Oddkid creations. He just went about it in that way because he is not a paid up trade member and therefore shouldn't be openly advertising on this forum as its incredibly unfair to all of the trade account holders who pay for the privilege.
