efi cvh's

Quick question. Do standard efi cvh's (xr3i/xr2i/mk5 escorts etc) have a separate engine wiring loom like my fiesta Rs turbo?

I know my mates Orion everything went through the fusebox and when we took the loom out to put a turbo one in everything was hard wired in. Was a few years ago now mind. Was a h reg mk4 escort shape
