Danny is banned last time I saw his name on here, a couple of days ago (probaly because his Traders status has run out) could be why you not got a reply too pms

 

Why not go to another tuner thats in your area with a better rep ? the alst few read up's on here didnt do them the world of good

well you may be shocked to know they went under months ago

seriously take it to someone with a decent rep who's been in the cossie tuning business for many years. travel if you have to, stay in a hotel for a night or two if you have to, it will be far cheaper to do that than have a cheap job done by someone who doesn't know for your engine to then blow up and be left with an even bigger bill!

 

Where abouts is your father in law and a basic set up, or a full on mapping set up trist?

we are based on the isle of wight. car is 4x4 sapph 6long stud, GT30, swedish inlet, BD14 inlet cam etc
he has done head gasket and few other things and we are taking it on his truck this week.

Just take the car to Mark Shead at M.A.D you will never have to take it anywhere else. It's only an extra hour in the car

Theirs loads of decent companies out there and loads of shit - Mark is a good one you only have to look at the weapons that come out of there.

It's not always the tuning on the day you have to think about it's also the aftercare, like MSD, NMS & M.A.D if you had an issue they would gladly rectify it. Unfortunatly for Luke EP was slated to the hills by several members on here alone for bad work and crap customer support afterwards.

I map Vipec Autronic Motec Link, I normaly recomend using MSD chips and if the spec is diff I then give Stu the info and afr graph and he re does the chip to suit.

Not sure if either will see it, but they may so---- shame not to see Danny and Luke at Castle Combe today, loved our little run round last year, and think this year my brother might have been giving Danny a good run round on track based on this year's lap times. Although Danny's new car spec if it's running may have moved things on a fair bit!

would you map my type of car,i have an msd chip,but its not quite right,seems to run very rich top end,would like to stick with it,as it has a very smooth feel

 

It doesnt worry me what car it is but I could check and record what its doing and MSD would tweak it to suit.

AFR is alledgedly in Horsham, my route finder quotes 1h 20m from portsmouth.

M.A.D is in Marlow, my route finder says 1h 40m from Portsmouth.

Well Luke of Enhanced performance is definately still running, in with AFR tuning and doing very well.
I have had my previous 2 cosworths set up at 3 different tuners and I have to say I have not been made to feel more welcome with the lads there.
Luke was bloody good and the car was sorted and came away with 40more BHP and 150more LB FT torque.
the father in law will definatly be going again with his cars for more work on this one and further work on his other stage1 sapph.
would 100% recomend a phone call to Luke at AFR Tuning
