Turbo has been rebuilt, gearbox has been rebuilt so I finally decided where the engine was going , to be rebuilt, truth is few places exist in Northern Ireland who can take an engine and make it like new . It was sent to O D Engineering in Belfast, they seem to be the guys who will strip ,measure , replace and rebuild and blast all the bits and paint the block and I don’t have to give it a second thought.

Got the paint tin out again today, planning to hang the tailgate and the crack on with the head cloth

2 full coats and a cheeky top coat of half gloss half clear lacquer mixed , puts a top on it .

Just gave her the once over with the polisher Denibbed the imperfections and polished with fast cut Pleased with it really pleased 😀

Have been a bit of a lazy bugger this last month or so . Went on holiday and stayed in that frame of mind for a bit to long . Then the engine came back ( finally) and all of a sudden I’m back in the game. Have been refurbing odd ball things ,trying to make sure everything is sorted when we get a chance to do some jobs.
