Default Semi slick track tyres

What semi slick track tyres are people using now.?
I have run kumho v70 for a long time but need some mew ones now (235/40 17).
was considering:
kumho v70
toyo r888r
nankang ar-1

Any feedback from experience.?

The toyo is very popular. Michelins pilot cups seem to do lots of variations as do Pirelli, I find the more expensive brands can sometimes last longer. I used to love the Dunlop direzza dg0…something. They didn’t last long but they were the best tyre I had ever used on track.

The Nankang AR-1's are supposed to be quite good. The Nankang NS-2R are also meant to be quite good, although less hardcore than the AR-1. Apparently the NS-2R work better from cold and in the rain, but ultimately don't give as much grip in the dry as the AR-1, but they are a lot cheaper as well. So if it was me I'd probably get the NS-2R.
