Default what winter tyres are you using?

and recommend?

will be getting some new ones for my spare set of crappy 16s for the 750 as don't fancy my chances with a big rwd bmw on it's current 255 18s

size im looking at is 235 60 16 s , and although I wouldnt touch there normal tyre range, the nankang sv-2 tyres get alot of praise on the net and pistonheads. looking at a touch over £300 for 4 fitted.

Surely it depends on the car and its performance?
I have Falkens on the "runabout" (15's vs 16's in summer) and Pirelli Sottozeros on "the beast" (18's for winter, most have 20's in summer though I don't).
Due to be swapped on this weekend.

I had uniroyal ms plus 66's on last winter and highly recommend them. Were brilliant in the ice and snow
