What size alloys for fiesta mk6?
Hi there,
I have a ford fiesta 1.25 (style), which has standard 15" steel wheels. (07 reg)
After doing some colour coding, and de-badging, I now want to put some different wheels on it.
I have been looking at 17" mondeo st200 alloys, and also escort gti 15" rims.
I am not really looking to have the car lowered, but out of the above alloys, I was wondering which alloys would suit the car better in terms of performance and also looks.
I thought the 17's would look good because they would fill the arches a bit more, but would I still have a fair sized gap from the car not being lowered?
Advice and ideas welcome,
Thanks!
James

Fiesta ST's have 17's as standard, and personally I think they still need lowering. I bought some Toyo Proxes 4's, which aren't a shit tyre for £240 off ebay. Lowering was covered by purchasing 35mm lower springs from a MK6 fiesta diesel.
Hope that helps. Also, head over the fiestastoc.com you'll find loads more info on this shape fiesta there!

Thats great, cheers, Will have a scout around and see what I can find.
Regarding the lowering, if I got the springs I'd have to get the shocks too wouldn't I?
As with the car sitting on lower springs on the original shocks, they'd wear out quicker?
Or have I got hat wrong?
Thanks again for the info!
