I originally wanted to spray my wheels Ford Graphite Gray. However, this would require about 7 cans of spray costing £43. I've already spend £25 on primer and I haven't even priced up lacquer yet so I'm trying to look at cheaper options. Ordinary Silver would cost half the price but everyone has silver wheels.

I actually like the colour of the primer so could I have that as the finished colour and spray lots of lacquer over the top?

try wet and drying them and then laquer and see what happens

as long as you flat the primer down with some 800 wet n dry it should be fine to lacquer over..........
