I have two questions..

What are the Gaps?
And for what need this information: Phase 0.3mm / CPS 0.8mm ?

A Mate of me wants to know, is it needed to remap the ECU or replace the MAP?

I think its not needed but im not sure?

 

They will work with any chip or map, the driver is completly seperate on L1 L6 L8, and most P8

Some P8 applications may have Wasted spark enabled in the chip, and therfore does not need the driver, but in this case you have the issue of powering the rev counter by some other means.

Either way, if your car is currently running on std ignition, then fitting this kit will make it run on W/S without any chip modifications at all.

the gaps are simply the sensor gaps for crank sensor and phase sensor.

 

Will i have to chance or adjust anything at the gabs ??

 

no you shouldnt need to if they are already correct.

 

Sorry to confuse u mate, i was asking stu what gaps were as im replacing a couple of nackered sensors and needed to know what to set them too

 

Will the hecounter revs be half or double of what they are when the kit is fitted. I heard people fitted the mk6 escort rev counter bits in behind the cossie rev counter as it were?

 

Neither, they will be fine as the driver contains a rev counter output. The only cars they struggle to drive are early 2wd but we have another solution for those.

Look at the link it totally transforms the car mate. Well worth it bud
