I have a 91 FRST!!!

My trouble is all the stickers have rubbed off the ecu! This now means i havent got a clue what ecu is in mine!!!

The dash is coming out at the weekend for wiring so im removing the ecu to find a manufacturers stamp!

If anyone can help by putting Ford part No.s for both ecu's i should be able to work out which is in mine.

I have rung my local Ford dealer and got some numbers to work on.
The 2 choices are:-
V90FB-12A650-AB
RV90FB-12A650-AB

Or if you know of a way of distinguishing between the 2 please let me know!!!

the V90FB-12A650-AB

is an ofab ecu
but them numbers are on the sticker which u say have rubbed off

on my ofab ecu on the opposite side to where the sticker is it says the following but this maybe the same on a ofac?

9038 1002
e9af 14a624 aa ( GTE )

this is printed on the grey plastic multiplug housing!!!!!

Hi mate u can also tell from the map sensor that is on the car. Cant tell u exactly but if its like the cossy ones then its an ofab there ofac used another map sensor althogether. Have u got a pic of yours??? there was a topic on this on the fiestaturbo forum u can search it from there.

After much research i have unfortunatly found that it is an OFAC ecu in mine.

Unfortunate because i have just bought a 195 Superchip for an OFAB! Ooops

If anyone knows of a chip for OFAC ECU's please let me know!
