Default mondeo v6 into a mk5 escort cabriolet

hi guys im looking into changing the engine in my escort and really fancy doing an v6 conversion. question is can it be done or has it been done ie will it fit, im guessing i can use the mt75 gearbox from the xr3i but what mounts and things would i need to use. i would be buying a whole doner car so would have both cars to use parts off what do you guys think

think youll be very very lucky to get the v6 into an escort.. if only just fits in the mondeo.. youd need to do some very serious cutting of the engine bay to get it in.. and when you see the engine mounts.. job in itself to mount them

star for makin sure of the size of the engine and gear box and everi thing else you need to fit into the engine bay that should be a very go first step cuz remember that there are a few things that can live some where else in the car like batery and other bits and bobs, it does not have to be all in there or has it?
