Is the oil seperator on my cossie knackered?

On my sapphire 4x4 i am starting to get loads and i mean loads of oil in the airbox. i have started to think that it might be due to the oil seperator any advice to check it?

airbox oil

hi you didnt mention mileage? could be the piston ring seal on the turbo compressor side check for play on shaft?
